In addition to being fair-weathered, Artoo is a well-weathered droid. This new "weathered" R2-D2 is the fourth in Tomy's popular remote-controlled mini-astromech series offered exclusively in the U.S. by StarWarsShop. Imported from Japan, this U.S. exclusive comes close to the scale of Hasbro's action figure version, and includes all the bells and whistles (literally!) that has made the astromech design a favorite among fans. With the mini-lightsaber remote, R2-D2 will move forward or turn on command, rotate his dome as he rolls, beep and whistle, and illuminate his photoreceptor "eye". R2-D2 measures approximately 2.5" tall, and includes batteries for the remote and the droid himself. Attractive window box packaging attractively displays both R2-D2 and the lightsaber remote.
